RSS and Email Alerts
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an easy way to keep abreast of new Books for Understanding lists and features, without having to visit the site daily to check for newly published bibliographies or having your in-box cluttered with email alert messages (although an email service is also offered, see below.)
To access the RSS feeds you'll need either an RSS reader installed on your machine, or the services of an online RSS aggregator. Some browsers, including Firefox, Opera, and Safari, contain an RSS reader that can automatically detect pages that offer feeds and allow you to subscribe within the browser. A number of free and commercial RSS readers are available for download, such as Feedreader or NetNewsWire. Online aggregators such as Bloglines collect feeds for you. (A web search for "feed reader" or "rss reader" will locate other services.)
Please fill out this form to subscribe to our Email Alerts service. You will receive email messages when new Books for Understanding lists are published and other occasional updates on the program. The information you provide will only be used to contact you regarding Books for Understanding, and will not be shared with any other organization.
